Buying bags --- do you consider quality over price?

That is a good idea and a wise move. To buy bags with both things satisfied is really a wise thing to do. We admit that there are bags which are of very good quality and their brands have been known by it and its price. I am one of those who wished to own such bags but just cannot afford to buy it when I saw them displayed. You are right, it is a matter of time and patience and the big "discount" brought about by time and patience would really pay off.

Although quality comes with the price, that is not always so. I have bought items which are really of good quality but these were very affordable for anyone's budget. Sometimes, we just need to choose items carefully. No one would like to buy things that we only get to use once or for a few times.

Of course, the well-known brands of bags are expensive because most have proven themselves in their line of business. They are known for good quality bags. Buying good quality bags will come out cheaper in the long run because you do not need to replace and buy another one frequently. They usually last long because of their durability.

and you can also buy branded quality in a second hand store just select the items that looks new they also go with good price. hehehe That's what I'm doing too.

That is true. Not only with bags but with clothes and shoes, too. These second-hand stores have different prices for items depending on whether they are slightly damaged or new. You just have to carefully examine items. You buy them cheap while getting good quality branded items at the same time.

I agree that each one of us is unique and we have our own ways and choices. Always, we don't care of other considerations if our choice satisfies us or one that makes us happy.

I understand that you prefer good quality shoes and are ready to pay more for it. This comes out a wise move as those good quality items we buy and usually pay high would come out cheaper in the end. They last longer and we don't need to buy or replace them more often.. For bags, I understand that you consider price before quality.

That is a good idea you have there. I agree because what usually attracts us to something is its beauty and/or design and uniqueness. Of course, there are a lot of items displayed side by side with each other. It is always one that "shines" above the rest that always attracts us. Although it all depends on one's choice of things.

I agree with you because sometimes, I can really find very good quality items and these are really very affordable. The makers of very well-known bags have established their names over the years. They have created a niche in their industry and they can put a price to that asset. They can demand an expensive price because of the quality and the very nice designs they have for their bags.

I am smiling ... likewise here on your "addiction" to shoes and bags. But my addiction can always be controlled by my budget.

Buying things really depends on one's choice. Of course, why do we buy those that we do not like? hahaha.

There are good quality bags that are inexpensive. It just needs more time looking around. For me, I haven't bought a very expensive bag because when I reach home, I seem to regret or feel guilty having to spend so much on something which only myself gets benefited. I buy bags and shoes after things for the house and for my children are looked after.

I also like bags which are really closed with a zipper on top. I had one bag before with a partial zipper and I had to pick up something from the floor and when I did this, my cellphone fell to the floor because the bag I was using was partially zipped. I do not like the very long strapped bags, though. I like those which I can hang on one shoulder and stay close to me (armpit portion) for safety and a deterrent to snatchers and robbers here.

Although I am one who likes to possess a good branded expensive bag, I am not really working my way to owning one. If a chance in the future has it, then I would be very happy.

I also find very good quality items which are very affordable to everyone. It is just a matter of patience and time in looking around. There are bags which really of very good materials and will really last long. You get your money's worth for it while serving its purpose.

Quality comes first to you before price. I have the understanding then that no matter the price, you choose bags which are of good quality. That is a wise move.
In the end, a good quality bag which comes with a high price would, in a way, come out cheaper in the end. You get your money's worth for it because it lasts long being of good quality. You do not need to buy frequently for replacements.

There are a lot of good durable bags which are low priced. It just needs time and patience to look for them. I admit I like to match my bags with the shoes I wear. I also like to wear different bags every now and then, mostly depending on the shoes and the occasion I am going. I also go to second-hand stores and browse for really good quality items, including bags. They come out very cheap and are still very durable.

We buy things to suit our needs. We are looking for features that can really serve our purpose. Like buying other things, other people also look for features in a bag as you do. It is good to have outside pockets for keys and cellphones. It may be safe with you where you are to place your cellphones in the outside pocket. It is no longer safe for us here to do that because of pickpockets and snatchers. If my bag had an outside pocket, it is always empty there. Or if it has something inside, the that side with the pocket is close to my body as I hugged it when hanged on my shoulder.

Whether low or high priced, things last long according to how we use it and how we take care of them, bags included.
