You Zipper si OPEN..  

It is not awkward situation at all according to me!!! I have seen the people around, laughing is such circumstances, moreover I often forget to zip the fastener, and I have never encountered awkward situation just because my zipper is not pulled.

Wow that's a tough one...lol I don't mind so much letting someone I know that their fly is not zipped. A stranger or someone I don't really know is different. I usually don't say anything. The reason for that is one time when I was about 15 a man at a local coffee shop came out of the restroom with his shirt tail zipped into his zipper...it was sticking out like a little blue flag...lol I said as he passed my table "excuse me, you seem to have zipped your shirt into your zipper (actually it wasn't zipped all the way and the shirt was sticking out the open part). He looked at me as if I was an idiot and said (rather loudly) "stop staring at my crotch it's not your business"...well I haven't said a word to anyone since then that I don't know. I know the guy was a jerk and I was being nice letting him know, but I was so embarrassed that I still think of it every time....and don't dare speak up...lol

Usually when I see someone with their zipper down I usually wont say anything. The majority of the time I try to avoid looking in that area if I do not know them just to avoid having to tell them their fly is open if it is. I know that sounds weird but just as you stated, 'how do you tell someone that'. If I know you I will simply say 'your zipper is down! I do NOT want to see all of that and I'm sure no one else does!' In a jokingly manner. I believe this is the easiest way to handle these situations unless in fact you do not know the person. That can be a very embarrassing situation for some so I try not to be the one discovering such thing.

Well, at first of all, I would wonder why I had noticed such a thing. I doubt I would be the one who would bring it up. That would in fact be awkward for many reasons. Therefore, I would try and ignore the awkward situation. Still when noticed, it is like a horrific accident in many ways. You really do not want to look. You really do not want to look at all. Yet, you fell compelled to look and perhaps say something. But, it is hard to find the right words. I just hope that someone else with less tact that I have will be the one who says something first. That way, I do not have to be the one that awkwardly inform the person that their zipper is open.

Depends on your repore with the person. Just simply say your fly is down. Or your button popped in a nice way.

hi ! I will tell him/her straight that her/his zipper is open, well if it is a girl, i will be more tactical and will shy a little it, but i will tell her/him, because it si something natural, that can happen to anyone!

I look the other way and make an exaggerated pointing motion with look of horror. I like to make a drama out of it , that way no one gets too embarressed lol.
I would prefer someone to tell me my zipper was open rather than walk round all day exposing my self only to find it when I returned home .
Which would be more embarressing being told or people staring at your appendage all day.
I would also prefer if someone told me i had snot on my nose rather than discovering it afetr talking to a group of people for hours.

I don't think I would feel awkward in that situation unless it was me who had my zipper wide open and a cute lady making me aware of it, awkward and totally embarrassing. If I do find anybody with a fly unzip in public and is obviusly unintentional then I'll just be formal with it and tell him in the most polite manner possible without turning it into a big deal. I know how it feels so I have to be considerate in how he would feel, that is why I'll just have to act cool and not make a big fuzz out of it.

I do not think that such a situation needs to be awkward. It all depend on how your zipper is opened, for example, and how many people , according to you, know about it.If you are not exposed to too many outsiders and the person who notices sometning awkward with you tel you that very discreetly, then there is no reason you should be embarassed. However, should you be in front of many persons and especially if most of them are paying attention to you, then definitely it's an awkward situation. Yet, one has to bear in mind that similar situations do happen accidentally and they should be happy that nothing worse happened - just a pretext to take it easy and be positive.

The best way is to keep it friendly in an amusing way as it tends to hide the embassement that way.

In the bad old days (ie 1950,s) girls would be embarrased if their slip was showing below their skirt and the comment then was 'I see Charlie's dead'. I never did quite understand where that expression came from.
