|  Are there any good free places to store documents and other files online? I tried mediafire, and 4shared, but these you have to login every 30-60 days or you lose the stuff you have uploaded. does anyone know of any sites that don't expire?

| |  Not really sure if skydrive expires, but that's where I keep all my files. I've been uploading regularly though, so I haven't had the problem of loosing my files.

| |  Google Docs - the one and only place you gotta use it :) They recently improved it to allow you to store any type of document, but if you store MS Word and Excel you can even open them and edit them online. It's all free.

| |  well... i am using ziddu.com for keeping and sharing my files and documents.. i don't that we have to login in regular period as you mentioned above.. well i never hear about it also for this site... you can try that...

| |  Every free online data storage site i've ever seen there is some kind of catch. If it doesn't "expire" then the "free options" either limit the amount of storage, or they aren't truly "free". I would get a couple of 8 gb storge stics and that should hold a lot of files. some are keychain size so that's not really that big but they hold a lot.
