Hey, ladies, do you prefer to wear your nails long or short?

I prefer to have my nails very short as I'm constantly working with my hands, either typing, housework or heavy-duty dirty work, and man, it feels extremely uncomfortable for my nails to be 1 millimetre past the top of my fingertips! lol

My nails grow long very quickly and are quite strong. There have been times when they have been very long and one has snapped below my skin and really hurt. I think because they are strong it means that when they do snap it is worse. I do not like them to be very short because I do not like the feeling when you touch things so I prefer to have them a medium length. I often have to cut them down and file them because they do grow pretty quickly.

I keep my nails a little bit short...probably medium length...because I do a lot of typing and I'm not comfortable with them long. I've never been fond of long nails and I definitely don't like the idea of covering up a perfectly good fingernail with a fake one.
