What is your favorite soup and why? If you know how to make it, please share the recipe! What, in your opinion, is the key ingredient in your favorite soup or what stands out to you the most about it? Do you eat it hot or cold?

It is almost like the American beef stew everthing you normally cook in a roast is in it but a little different you want to buy the stew meat that is in pieces and add the beef bullion Make the water hot add a piece of garlic a little piece, add meat and cut half onion and tomato, put in water let the meat cook boiling on medium. them when the meat is almost ready add potatoes cut up in pieces just like you would in a roast and add carotts cut up,and chayote cut in half 2 pieces is enough ,let cook until potatoes and carrots are soft but not real soft, Then add corn on the cob , calabaza squash, only a few tomitillas the little green tomaotos add corn on the cob too let it cook til everything looks done and you will know. You can also add cilantro while it is cooking and you can add celery if you like but don't put very much it will ruin it. Then on the side cut up fresh jalapenos, chop fresh onions and cilantro and when you meke your bowl of soup this goes on top. This hot sauce is called Valentina add that and also cut up limes and squeeze the lime in your bowl. Hope you enjoy this and have a good day!!

Soup is really good especially when you are sick or feel like you are getting sick, since soup always seems to make you feel better, and soup is also good when it is cold outside since it can warm your body up like in the Cambells commercial with the kid who is a snowman and is eating soup and then he melts into a kid,and I do not eat soup a lot,and I would have to say that my favorite soup would have to be chicken noodle soup, because all though it is kind of plain,it is good, and some of the best things in life are simple, like love,it is simple, but one of the best things you will ever find.

You're exactly right - soup is simple, which makes it so good! My hubby and I prefer our soup heated up on the stove top so once it's all warmed up, it's ready to eat! We like all kinds. They say the reason people crave soup when they're sick normally with a cold or something like that, soup is best for them because they're body craves it due to a lack of sodium in their body. Soup has plenty of sodium, so when you have a cold it's best to eat soup anyway! It's really neat how the body can compensate for its shortcomings by causing us to crave soup, which has what our bodies need! Didn't mean to get into a health lesson on you, but I always thought it was so interesting!

I think I'm particular with heating up soup because I'm the same way about the microwave vs. the oven. If I'm going to have some leftover pizza heated up, I'd much rather heat it up in the oven rather than the microwave because it's more fresh and doesn't get dried out. I think soup makes less of a mess on the stove top because you can watch it, stir it while it cooks, and you can put a covering on it with the lid to the pot just in case it starts to boil as it cooks. I know it can burn easier if you don't stir it frequently enough, but that doesn't taste too bad either. It just has a fresher taste - everything does if it's not heated up quickly in the microwave. Sometimes I even wonder why I have a microwave! Ok, I take that back because I use the microwave to thaw meat...that's about it, though!

I know what you mean we usually warm our soup on the stove top because it makes it done fast, and I know people crave soup when they are sick and that is true sick bodies need it since they are lacking sodium, and it is okay it is good to learn new things everyday, and I thank you for the lesson, and I look forward to responding to more of your discussions in the future.

My favorite soup? I have nothing in particular but I like my mom's cooking. They call it "utan" It has a lot of veggies in it. This is very yummy. It's yummier if its not so hot nor cold. Hmmm. thinking about it makes me want to eat it right now...!
