Strange robberies in my locality....

Hello friends, Something very strange is happening in my locality for last few months. I live in a proper city and as expected its crowded most of the time. But for say last six months some broad day light robberies are taking place in my locality. These robbers fake themselves as cops and ask ladies to handover them all their ornaments. Few days ago a lady residing in the very same building where i live got robbed in this fashion. Actually they hypnotize their victims and rob them. The victim regains their consciousness after say 10 mins or so and by that time they all are gone. That lady lost ornaments almost worth of 2000 USD. That’s awful. Police complaints have been made and a lot of investigation is on and the local police has made a public issue that not to wear too much gold or ornaments and also not to carry lots of cash unnecessarily. This is quite shocking to know as its all happening and not much we can do about it. Guys what do u think what precautions we should take so that such incidents do not take place anymore? Have u heard about such incidents before? This was almost the 5th or 6th case in a span of few months here. Cheers, Tutul
