Learning a foreign language.  

I have learn basic Turkish language in high school. In my country, most people if not all knows atleast two dialects including our Native tongue, and English so that makes at least three languages. I have been wanting to master my Turkish Language skill and also learn Japanese and other Asian languages so I usually visit You Tube for lessons.

Learning foreign language is cool! You will be able to talk with people from other country and get to know their culture. It feels good to learn things from experience not just from the books. In my case, I want to learn latin because I want to read some books which are originally written in Latin. Cambridge University offers Latin course, it's expensive for me but they also have some free online materials so I just check them out. I hope to enroll in Cambridge University Latin course in the near future, I'll save some money first.

I think the hardest thing in school or in life for that matter is learning a new language. I remember in high school having to take two years of a language and it sucked. Outside of math my senior year, Spanish class gave me the most trouble. Kudos to you for learning French!

My native language is Danish, in school i had both English and German, both languages i use today. Now i have moved to the Netherlands and im currently studying the Dutch language at the University to improve my CV.

I did have a spanish class in grade school and learned some of the basics of the language. It is nice to have this language to use at times. I would love to learn french. It is such a beautiful language and yet it may be difficult to sound as good as a true frenchman.

I have learned Maltese and English (which is our second language) from primary school. In the secondary school I chose Italian because Malta is very close to Italy and we do get Italian TV stations. So most of Maltese pick it up from television. I have tried to learn French as another foreign language but I found it hard. I had to learn Arabic as it was compulsory but I only remember some vocabulary since I do not use Arabic or French in my daily life..

i also love to learn french language but i find it difficult. in school we only have english as our foreign language though my sister said that we also have spanish language before but they already took it out as they think that english is widely known. the reason why i want to learn french is because i have cousin in france an my bf is also from france though his working in london right now. he used to teach me french words but i always forgot maybe because i didnt use it often.

i like to learn maybe mandarin or Cantonese there are lot of Chinese people here in our country so that i can understand them.

I personally would want to learn Mandarin, Japanese and Korean language. I wanna learn Mandarin coz I guess there's a lot of people who knew that language and I just simply like the way talk. I wanna learn Japanese also because I wanna go Japan and do lots of shopping, experience partying there at night. And lastly, I wanna learn korean because I really wanted to be in Korea and live there...

It's always good to learn a foreign language or two. Since you know that you want to go to France one day, learning French is a wise decision that will certainly prove to be helpful. I did not learn any foreign languages when I was at school. I pick up Japanese by myself only after I statrted working. I have great interest in the Japanese language, therefore learning Japanese is largely a matter of choice. Till today, I am still learning it by myself, and I am now proficient in both written and spoken Japanese.
