| What is the fastest( speed) at which you have driven a vehicle.?  | | | |  I like to drive at a high speed; high speed but not rash. Unfortunately here in Mumbai city b'cos of the high traffic density one can rarely drive over 50-60 km/hr. In some places like the express highways you do get stretches with low traffic but then there are speed restrictions and those stretches do not last for more then 2-3 minutes unless you are almost on the outer periphery or out of the city.
And I miss the driving overseas especially on the German autobahns where there were no restrictions.

| |  I think the fastest I've driven is 80 mph, but that's just on the stretches of highway where the speed limit is 70 mph. I live in a very rural area where all the roads are really twisty and curvy, so driving too fast isn't really all that smart (though sometimes I do drive faster than I should). But on the highway the speed limits are higher, so I don't mind going a little bit faster, especially since I tend to drive them at night when there's very little traffic so I'm not quite as nervous as I usually am.

| |  250 km/hr in a BMW 540 i. Car was governed at that speed so I couldn't go faster. Exilirating though. Must say it was in an emergency to get to a hospital in Cape Town from Jeffreys Bay in SA, which represents a 700 km drive. I drove carefully and only at this speed on open stretches. The 700 km took me 4 hours to complete.The main thing is - the car could handle it safely!
