Who is your favorite WHL team and NHL team.....  

My favorite team is the San Jose Sharks. The game they played recently against Anaheim was really exciting to watch. There were also like 2 or 3 fights in the first period. It was crazy. Plus, they had the whole rivalry thing going on, which was fun to watch.

I don't like hockey, but now I'm thinking I need to start to like it. I couldn't stand watching hockey. UNTIL the Olympic game that the United States played Canada, for the gold. I'm kind of glad Canada won because it means more to them, as a country. I mean, if the U.S. had won, we would have been excited. And three days after that no one would care. I think you know what I mean, obviously not no one. Anyway, watching the overtime in that game, I started to get into it. Lately, I've read about a couple hockey players because they got engaged to famous women. And now that I've heard a couple names, I've thought about trying to watch a few games. What I like so much about other sports, is that I know the players names, I am familiar with their stories. Therefore, I root for them. I think I might start to do that with hockey. It's a small step, but considering how far I was from hockey before the Olympics, it's a big step for me!

I am a canucks fan. And there are actually a few of us here in myLot that exchange friendly barbs during game days. I hope to have discussions with you the next time the canucks and the flames meet.
For the WHL, I like the silvertips and the giants. Overall, I just love that the players coming from the WHL are doing great at the NHL level.

I guess my fave teams would be the Canucks and the Giants.

I'm a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge Colorado Avalanche fan. Die hard.


For the WHL, go Giants go (but now since my friend Mike Piluso plays for Edmonton, I'm partial to them too)
