You are right being a mistress, is not a good life to live, most of the time these men have wives, and they are not going, to live their wives for you, look at the mess Tiger Woods got himself in, for messing around with other women, now he has to try hard to save his marriage, which I don't think is going to be easy.

Well this type of person may be getting material items that are good to her for the time being and that is okay with her. Somewhere down the line she may face the harsh reality of having such behaviors may cost her more than the material items she acquired.I mean she may have been hurt, she may not know what she wants, or she is just caught up that her body and companionship will get her what she needs and could careless of what others think of her. These individuals that engage in activities or are entertained by her presence have their own issues as well. Where is the safety issued being addressed? No one can change a person, they have to do this on their own. She may be with one guy but how many people has he done this with? Is she only admitting it is only one guy? I wonder how long this will last? Take care.

I think the only women who'd be attracted and enjoying this kind of set up are gold diggers, they're only in it for the money anyway which that girl from the article seems to be taking advantage of and is enjoying.

Maybe this Cinese woman says she likes being a mistress is all the money she gets from her the guy who is cheating on his wife! Yikes! That is sick! The mistress must not have a conscience and just cares about what this guy gives her! I never have been a mistress but what I know is it is a dead end. You are always second on his list. You want more! Sometimes you are made to believe you'll be his as soon as he gets a divorce which never happens! You have to be secert about all this and I can see low self-esteem,too! It is a no win situation! It is degrading to women and some men just want the cake and eat it too! Tiger Woods is a good example on that subject!

I don't know about that. I'm just a normal guy although my father has a top position where he's working. But still I believe being wealthy is much better than being poor where you have to endure your hunger, making money only enough to eat not to mention about your family. Personally, I hate rich people who don't care about poor people.. They make this world unbalanced!

For me that situation is very hard to deal specially the child of you husband is not behave in you and don't like you to be there mother for what she told I'm in neutral situation of that.

I do agree with you. being a mistress is horrible. You are not only stepping unto your own dignity but you are also destroying a family. Though it wasn't all your fault, but you could have avoided it.

Recently, in my town a beauty queen was killed, you know why? because she has been a mistress of a well known very wealthy and powerful politician in my city for years. A lot of people knew about the affair and she already received a lot of death treats for a couple of months already. It was because the family knew about it and she's been using the guy for the same reason, that Chinese lady you talked about. She owns a car and she asks for a lot of money from the guy every week, she is also still at school. Families of the guy tried to talk to her and asked her to leave their father alone, but she refused. Just 3 weeks ago, she was killed, then the killer was caught and refused to tell who paid him to kill her, but after a couple more weeks, he admitted that the family members of the guy paid him to kill her.

So being a mistress is really terrible, and knowing that you are only the second one, just hurts. So as much as possible, AVOID IT.
