Subjects

Hi ET28LV, I love English and Science subjects but hated the most Math and Social Studies. Even when i reach college i still hate anything with numbers-- i hate algebra. but thanks god i passed that subject with good grades. the course that i took has lesser math subjects. I am a social worker by profession. but now i am so challenge to review math everytime i tutored my son with his math assignments.

it's normal to have favorites, including subjects. sometimes, we feel bad when we had difficulty grappling with certain subjects. and presto, we hate them. on certain subjects, where we get along and pass without a breeze, then that's our favorite. elementary and high schools subjects embrace the whole range of academic preparation we need before choosing a career. later on, you will pursue a career related to the subject you like most and appear easy to you and discard careers related to subjects you have difficulty dealing with, or simply hate.

Naturally I loved art class, foods and home ec. I also liked PE for the most part. I enjoyed English and Socials as well as biology. Although I managed to get through 12 years of mathematics, I detested them also. Biology was a gas because we had an awesome teacher. It was good to learn the things we did though too. I enjoy to study but a bit rusty. I've been out of school for sometime now with some post secondary. Would be interested in more however,

I liked maths (unlike you) as i had developed a liking for numbers i dont know why but it was there , but now when i an doing engineering i really hate them.. as they say excess of anything is bad.. i didnt like subjectas like social studies or History (well i really hated history) but now i think they were not that bad... Its amazing how things change..

Math my my least favorite also. I liked languages, science, history...

hi my friend, how are you? i hope u were well.. as i remember, when i was i child i like language and geography.. perhaps history, but im sure that math is not invented for me hahahah.. until nowdays, i hate math with all my soul! hahah,, i dont be good at this subject, but in highschool i used to love chemestry and biology, and hate both maths..hhahah.. and of course, the "karma" of the highschool was physics,, i Hate hate hate this.. i have a question, in what grade are you? thanks for asking, have a nice day

I have always been more artistic rather than academic so my favourite subjects at school were Art and English Literature. The worst for me were Mathmatics and the sciences, and I never was able to master the academic subjects at all.

When I was in school, my favorite subjects were usually computer, arts, biology, science, and sometimes, language too. However, the subject would become my favorite if the teacher is all right: if the teacher teaches good and is kind to students. I also disliked math in high school especially when I asked my teacher how we can use it in our daily lives. She told me "patience". That was all right but it wasn't a good enough answer for me so I found it hard to study that subject. But even though I dislike some subjects, I didn't make it hinder my studying habits. I treat all subjects fairly when I study and I pass them all. Just because I disliked the subject, I did not study for it. I had a classmate who was like that and I think the low grade on that subject became a nuisance later on.

I used to hate math too. I am ok with it now though. I do have a couple of math classes coming up that I am nervous about. I always liked English and Science when I was in highschool.

favorite subjects include math, English, Chemistry, computer, and anatomy.. i quite hated history, Sewing, Physics, Literature and Community service.. hahaha... Oh, I also love The high school military trainings we had... ^_^

I think and believe that having favorite and hate subject is normal to every students. When I was in elementary and high school, i like mathematics... because all I need to know is the formulation and everything will follow... no need to memorize long theories... What I hate about math are the trigo and those angles...

I loved chemistry, biology, and English. My least favorite are math and history. I just hate it when I have to memorize those dates in perfect order.

During my entire life as far as school was concerned, I hated it. I didn't like it very much. Math was my weekest subject, but mostly because I simply didn't have the motovation to really want to do the work. Quite frankly I didn't like it one little bit. Now that I'm out I have no desire to want to go back. I don't even think I had a favorite subject in school though I was strongest in home ec, and computers.

Hello ET28LV :) When I was at school I loved maths, English and economics. These were the subjects I really enjoyed. I hated history, it was one of the most boring subjects for me. While at university I liked most the subjects. I finished Economics, got the bachelor's degree and now I'm thinking about studying for the master's degree since next Autumn.

When I was in school, I always loved the maths and sciences. Did not care much for history or language. And the funny thing was my sister was the exact opposite. She would be happy to sit and write papers but don't ask her to add two numbers together. Having read the response you have recieved till now it is funny to see that this pattern holds true for most. If you really like language and history then not so fond of maths and sciences.

oh when i was a student my favorite subject was recess of course everyone does seriously I like mathematics and P.E, I know a lot of people don't like mathematics, cos they find it difficult, but if you're just listening to your teacher/prof you won't find it difficult, its interesting Good luck to you Et and study hard.

Hello ET! I wouldnt recommend not going to school, so dont get me wrong, but I hated going to school. I enjoyed only 2 subjects: Geography because our teacher was this tiny, little old woman who had traveled the world and she would show us where she's been. So it was like sitting at home watching a movie. Literature was my second favorite: Our teacher would start telling us a story and he'd stop at the best part. We'd all have to rush to get the book to read the end, then write about it. I love when someone tells me a story. I hated maths also but I was good at it when I found the right teacher. When you dont like a subject, dont suppose its that specific subject you dont like, you just havent met the right teacher yet to help you discover it.

hi! when I was a student I actually didn't have some school subjects that I hated, maybe the mathematics, but I didn't hate it, it just was too difficult to me and I was very uneasy in the math class, because I do the sums very slowly and thought the everyone is waiting for me. from all the subjects my favorite ones were the Literature and the History! I learned them and still learn the Literature at the university with such a pleasure

Hai... when in school my favorite subjects is biology, history, Sport, and English. I don't like math either but the I hate the most is Physic

I loved gym class as everyone does. For normal subjects I always loved Math class. I think it was because it came natural and I found Math to be easy. My father was an accountant so maybe that has something to do with it. I always did so well with numbers. I used to hate History but it grew on me as I got older and found it interesting to learn about the past. Art was always fun but frustrating sometimes because I was not so great at drawing and painting.
