Pay 1$ to get cashout in trekpay

really?how come? i think trekpay is not longer as our idol to earn some money. must send 1$ to get 5,5 $? hm, bad idea for me to give your suggestion.

There is absolutely NO mention in the FAQs or anywhere else that you have to pay $1 to get paid. The FAQs say: "When and how do I get paid? [i]Effective policy change: Oct 28 2009 Trek is implementing a 2 week pending period for payouts to PayPal. The reason we are implementing this pending stage is to allow PayPal enough time to clear payments from our paying Clients. Trek has been paying out commissions on purchases and later being notified by PayPal that payments received were fraudulent, resulting in losses to our business. PayPal has suggested that we place a 2 week hold on payout requests to minimize this problem. Trek will still make payout runs once per week but members must wait the 2 week holding period before they get the monies sent. Once each week Trek will run a payout. This will occur sometime between Tuesday-Thursday. Check your account for the amount of money. When you have $5.50 or more then a request for payout to PayPal option will appear. Make sure you have inserted your PayPal email address or your payout cannot be processed. Once we receive the payout request the monies will be deposited into your PayPal account after the 2 week holding period.[/i]" I would advise that you should first raise a Support Ticket to ask for an explanation. If there is no response or you do not get a satisfactory answer, then you should cut your losses and leave immediately.

Well this does not make sense at all. Why would a site require an investment to be made to get a cashout. I hav seen sites like IVbux that require one to have 50 refferal before cashout(Yup its not 1 ,2 , 5 ,10 it 50) So i guess there are sites doing this but i dont these sites have much credibility..

It has been a week after I requested a payout in trekpay and have received it yesterday. No cash deduction happened. What you can see in the Amount tab is exactly what I received in my paypal so I think he should double check that part :D

Wow. I never really knew Trekpay had this. I've heard really good feedback about the site but hearing that they require a $1 payment first before payout makes it sound like the doings of a scam site. I do hope this does not happen to everyone, there's too much good sites online going scam already!

I hope this isn't true, I've been surfing trekpay for over two weeks now. Why would a site ask you to pay out to check out. Has this happened to anyone else I wonder?
