Need help for cheap hostels/hotels in Bangkok, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh

Hi mylotters, I'm going to those cities around May and need your recommendations on finding cheap hostels/hotels. I travel by myself so I am in a really tight budget. Please share your experience/knowledge here. It does not have to be only about the hostels, but also about the city. Thanks much!

When I travel, I book hotels online at expedia.com the site does provide informantion on the hotel property there and the chepes rates. I have used them to book hotels in Manilia and Makti Phills. you may want to try there.

expedia.com is quite expensive since it only offer hotels and not many great deals in inn or hostels. Thank you for the recommendation :)

I don't know much about these cities but it sounds like it will be a cool trip. Check on expedia or travelocity. They list hostels and they will post them in order by price. Have fun and good luck!
