I use to have a friend that always responded to every one of my discussion. About a month ago or so I started to express my lack of faith in a deity. About two weeks ago I noticed that this person was no longer responding to any of my discussion, reguardless of the topic. At first I just assumed that this person had just taken some time off from MyLot. One day though I noticed that this person had responded to a discussion that I had responded to. So I decide to see if we were still friends, and guess what we were not.
Have you ever lost a friendship due to your lack of faith in a deity either on MyLot or in the real world?

sorry to hear that but all my friends know where i stand when it comes on to matters like these but the way i see it is that if the person cant accept you for who you are and what you beileve in then that person doesnt deserve the honour of calling you their friend. And you know i read recently in the bible that people of christ should refrain from doing things like these so i guess your friend isnt really reading the bible

No, because I've been an atheist for a while, so most of my friends already know that comes part and partial with being my buddy. Sorry you lost a friend that way, but it happens. Did you happen to ask why they stopped? Is it specifically because you became an atheist?
