In a workplace, one of the attitudes that is often annoying is cowardice in accepting mistakes and particularly, getting an escape goat or a sacrificial lamb to put the blame on. This is somehow related to what Jack Canfield said "You have to take 100% responsibility for your actions" (if I may quote him right). This is somewhat hard to practice, but I'm trying to apply this principle. You, MyLotters, what can you say about this? Are you brave enough to accept your mistakes even in front of your boss and your subordinates?

| |  This is one of my pet hates, people who will try to blame another for their mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, it is the nature of being human. If a colleague makes a mistake then my only concern is to try to help to rectify the problem, but if they try blaming others then I feel that they should be reprimanded.
I always admit to whatever mistakes I make because it is easier to put something right if you do not hide the fact.
