With Faith Hill doing the cross over and other country bands playing with rock and Roll and like Kieth Urban and Dixie Chicks playing with rock and roll people do think it will all one kind of music in the next 10 years. Do you beleive there will be Country by itself and Rock and Roll by itself? Thanks and have a Great day Sincelrey Unique16

Elvis and Johnny Cash did that until a full and distinct version of Kieth Urban came up. That was when they "rocked the country" in full with distorted guitars etc.... I love it!!!

Isn't that kind of like what Rock-a-billy is? Country with a little rock flavor. I doubt that it will ever only be one kind of music. There will always be pure rock, pure country, and a little bit of everything in-between. That's what makes it all interesting and keeps the music new and alive. Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban are great! I like it all!

Yup isn't it cool. Some people doesn't like country music, but i do.So a mixture of both would surely cater to a wider audience. Shania Twain did it with her song "Rock This Country" and its very beautiful blending of two music genres. I haven't heart Kieth Urban yet but i know he is popular so im going to browse for his video at youtube later. (^_^)
