3-D Televisions coming out soon!!! Would you get one?  

I agree that I don't think it'd be worth it to buy a 3-d television. It'll be interesting to see how much more expensive they are. I think it works in the theatre really well but not so much at home! Thanks for your input! Take care.

Good for you!! I think alot of people would be better off if they kept their items until they needed to be replaced. My living room TV counts since it's just not working right anymore and I've had it for ages.

I haven't even looked at the prices since I don't want one but I imagine they are going to be super high. Any new technology always starts out that way. I'd rather have a flat screen tv anyway so it works better for me.

I'm with you. With there be so many excellent non 3-D televisions to choose from, I will stick to seeing that format at the theatres. I would like to see one at the store to compare how different it is tho. Thanks for sharing! Take care!

My living room Tv is the largest one in the house and it's dying fast. I'm going to look at flat screen tv options but not too big! I've seen folks where the tv dominates the room and that's not for me. It'll be interesting to see how well the 3-D tv's do since there are so many other new technologies out lately.

Oops, sorry for my internet connection which resulted in twice posting of responses. Yeah, it's truth that you must check well first before decide to buy which type of television to adorned your home.

I really liked the Avatar movie tv ads but didn't see it in the theatres. I wonder if they will release a non 3-D version to DVD or Blu Ray since otherwise they won't get as many sales. That would be interesting to compare to the real version. Take care!

Great questions! I'm not sure but I think one would still need the 3-D glasses. And they had better come up with some better ones that the cheap cardboard ones that one gets at the movies! Tho are annoying at times. I'm sure they will be very high in price at least in the beginning...Take care!

I'm not sure about that or not. I think so. If that's the case then they should provide multiple pairs with each Tv else there will be fighting over them. They are coming to my local stores this month so I will at least check them out to see if they are as cool as they sound. But not really going to get one, wouldn't be worth paying the premium. I'm just like you. If my TV is doing well, I keep it. I have wanted a flat screen for quite awhile now and have been saving for it and now that my living room tv decided to start to fade on me, it's almost time to get one! And happily, the prices are way down over what they once were. I think it'll be interesting to see how well the 3-D tv's do since they are kinda a specialty item.

Good question! I don't know as they ad's I have seen have only talked about how wonderful the 3-D features are. I sure would hope that regular movies and such would view fine but don't really know. Considering that they are going to be very expensive, I would hope they would realize that they should make them work either way. Thanks for you comments! Take care!
