Wii Fit or Aerobics  |

| I have been over weight most of my life by about 40-50lbs. When I start something I can always get into it and then I end up falling off..I use to do a lot of walking and then I stopped. My hours at work prevent me from doing a lot since it is a lot of hours out the day but I need to stop making excuses and do somthing. I always watch infomercials and I see products by beachbody.com (Turbo Jam, P90, P90x,insanity) and I always want to try it but I ge frusturated if I can't get the move done correct. But I want to do someting and I don't know if I should get the Wii Fit or suck it up and get an aerobics video. Any suggestions on which is better and why? ThanKS!! | | | | | |

| | I would maybe start with the Wii fit. It gives it to you real about your weight and how you are doing the moves. We have the wii fit and my husband and I just started doing P90X. It's still HARD. I teach aerobics for a living and still have a hard time doing those workouts. The Wii will help you get the muscles moving in the right way to do the moves before embarking on the super adventure of P90X. | | | | | | |

Set yourself rewards for doing exercise like watch 30 minutes of TV because you went for a walk around the block. | | I have used many keep fit DVDs over the years, but I find the Wii Fit Plus is much better. As the exercise on the Wii Fit seems more like fun, it is easier to keep motivated to do it every day or 5 times a week. You can build up your minutes in your Piggy Bank on the game and you get awards throughout for getting best times or highest scores, so you have little goals to work towards to and the Wii Fit Plus keeps a graph of your weight, time spent, etc. so you can se your progress. | | | | | | |
