Is my son ready for potty training?  

You know, my nephew is 2years old and is already potty trained. I think your son is ready enough. But don't rush him, it's a slow process.

At that age your child should be ready for potty, besides that you will save a lot of money on diapers. Show him easy words that is related with potty perhaps that will be easy for him besides when you go to the bathroom do the same and take him with you so that he knows what needs to be done. My son is three-and-a-half years old now, and I'm still working with him on it. The one thing that I noticed that is a lot different from potty training a girl is that it takes a lot longer. I would go ahead and start with him now, but you also need to definitely keep in mind that it is going to take longer with your son.
What I did with my son when we started was I would ask him to use the potty on a regular basis and eventually it started to click with him.
