Are there NO NATURAL anti-perspirant minerals in this world,

Today has been a very long day so simply because I had nothing better to do I started reading the back of some items in my bathroom. I was more than slightly surprised to see that virtually none of them contain any natural ingredients. For example my anti-perspirant deodorant spray contained the following, to name a few, cyclopentasiloxane,propylene carbonate, limonene, citronellol. Now I am no chemist but, these all sound like serious chemicals to me. My point is ( eventually ) this cannot be good for our skin, health, enviroment. Does this concern you also.

Oh dear... and I thought my day was boring lol
I bought a crystal one from the health food shop called "Salt of the Earth" which say it is "made of pure ammonium alum, a natural mineral salt". It was way more expensive than your average roll-on but I was told that I couldn't use an ordinary one due to some treatment I need. So far I have only used it twice - it seemed to work ok but I wasn't rushing around at all so I couldn't really say how effective it is for everyday use.

I have heard of these natural crystals, and I have noticed they seem to be very expensive. Anything 'Green' , 'enviromentally friendly' , ' 'natural' all seem to cost the earth. (Excuse the joke). But if the work then it's worth the extra cost. Hope it works for you, have a fun day.

I got a "travel size" and it cost me about £2.50 but it'll be worth that to me if I feel confident about not smelling bad whilst i cant use the normal ones.(Even if no-one else thought so, I would think I was smelly if I used nothing) As you say, if it has any sort of enviromentally friendly label the price goes up...same for anything with less fat or sugar - if its got 'less' of something, shouldn't it be cheaper??? confused
