I think you can gave them appliances like rice cooker, refridge and A/C. Also television or laptop.It depend on your budget.

if you can afford a microwave give it. this is one of the things, as a married woman myself, that i would like to buy and would really find eternally useful but since a stove is more likely what the woman of the household buys i just try to tailor the dishes according to what a plain stove can do. but having a microwave could really be a blessing. it's one of the things i wouldn't buy since a stove is more versatile but a microwave is something i wish i have.

Depends on what your cousin is in need of. Is she big on cooking? Then cookware is something you might want to think about. Also is your cousin registered anywhere? If so check it out because then you will have more choices & if all else fails gift card, a check, or money will do. Every couple starting out could ALWAYS use that, trust me I know that for a fact...lol

I think the best wedding gift is something useful for their new home. It would be any kitchen tool, perhaps. But, if you want a funny gift, give him a condom.LOL. Just kidding.

if they have a home, buy something they can use. take your pick - bathroom, bedroom, dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry. towels are lighter to carry than an electric fan. his and hers of course. you can have their names embroidered too.

I think the best gift you can give will depend on your budget and of the couple's need of the stuff. Surely other guests will give them mostly household things.. there's lots of gifts to think of... but you can think of something unique too. Say you can give a gift cheque that is of your budget, the couple will surely appreciate it and buy the stuff they don't have yet among the gifts they received.
Or you could give both the couple a day of pamper in a spa... or you could give your cousin a sexy nightie she can wear during their honeymoon :D

The weddings that I have gone to the gift is money in a card for the bride and groom. It is usually 100 dollars or more. If its a Bridal shower then most couples register at a certain store that tells you what they want or need. If they are not registered then I would get something like a special wine glasses with their initials on it or sexy lingerie if you are a female cousin. You could get kitchen appliances, silky sheets, towels with matching robes with their initials. I hope this has helped you somewhat. Good Luck!

MyLotters like me could probably give a more fitting suggestion if you could be a little more precise & informative - like- whether you want the present only for your cousin( whether male or female?) or for the new couple, his/their likes dislikes, whether they will live separately or with their parents, anything they mentioned in the past that they would like to have, their ages their likes/dislikes .... in fact anything that could help decide on the gift.
Otherwise the standard ones are there like cookers, utensils, clocks, bed-sets, photo-albums, hosehold gadgets/appliances, etc etc.

I remember I had a discussion like this with my friends as one of our friends recently got married. We first thought of giving her some things for the home: cookware, dining ware, even beddings. But then we settled for a gift check because it was the safest thing to give. At least she can use it for whatever she needs for their new home.

Take into consideration your cousin's likes and dislikes. Think of what she might need after the wedding. Also consider where they're going to live. If they have a new home, buy them something useful for the house. If they're still living with parents, something not too bulky is good.

give him/her what you can afford. If you can only afford a bunch of flower, then give him/her a bunch of flower. And tell him/her that only this that you can afford and wish them to be happily ever after.
