Destroy more trees!  

Based on your reasoning what your company did is just right you cannot jeopardize your company loosing time and to be more productive just to save a paper. Well in due time you will find some good alternative about it. We also have same project like those we recycled papers and sometime used scratch paper for some internal documents, we used the other side of the papers that we have in our stockroom these are files from last year that is supposed to be sent for recycling company but since the other side of the paper is still neat the management give an order to use the other side. We also have some problem with this sometimes when we present copies of statement of account of clients they will see that there is something printed on the back of it for us a big company this may caused for our client to loose credibility with us because we are a big company then we used scratch papers we just try to explain it to our client but same as your company problem it consume time to explain for it rather than focused on our clients concern.

We have a lot of conference calls where people look at the materials online. That saves a lot of trees...

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your company's policy now.

What is the cost of a few extra minutes compared to the life of a tree? I am an advocate for saving as many trees as possible. I've written letters to our government and to other companies about this very thing before.

If every company had your company's attitude, how many trees do you think will have been killed in the short amount of time between the decision to save paper and then not to?

It's a short sighted attitude imho--for without trees, sooner or later there won't be a planet left to do business on. Can't your company find other ways to conduct business, such as online, by teleconference, by email, etc?

Timely discussion my friend. Avon recently started prnting out invoices in the same manner, for the same nobel green reasons. I was excited when they announced the changes, I work at being good to the planet and my own environment, you might even say at times, I pride myself on it. Mother nature forgive me...I hate these new invoices!!!!! What a pain this is and it took me 30 or 40 extra minutes to do my paperwork, and forget about having two invoices in the same space..I am constantly flipping to see which campaign is which. I know I should be willing to put up with a little inconvenience to do my part, and I should slow down a little, I am aware of all the blah blah blah arguments to keep dong this..I don't care!!

As far as I am concerned, the energy I am spendig on wasted time, just isn't worth it. So yes, the same initiative, and the same backfire..for me anyway, I just hope for alot of other Avon reps too, Corporate is pretty good at respondng to mass feed back.

Just heard if we finish 6th you are our first match up..That would be like a final round match up the way you guys are playing..what an exciting start that could be. Not 100% sure we are ready to go that hard yet. Sticks crossed.
