If you had 30 days in Europe where would you go?   

I'd like to travel by car. Because you can see the landscape (not possible while flying) and you can decide where to go. I'd love to go around the south: Spain, France, Italy and Croatia.
I live in Germany and I want nice warm weather *g*

I don't need luxury hotels, just a clean room and a good breakfast

It all depends if the 30 days trip is sponsored . I would make full use of the 30 days to visit as many places as possible, experience as many culture as possible. I would not insist on a 5-star hotel if the accomodation is decent enough.

If I would be given a chance to travel Europe I would like to go to Switzerland, Italy, UK, Norway, and I would like to visit the Vatican City. Those are the places I would like to go to. But I would like to get a backpackers hostels, I guess that would be much cheaper. I would like to have a long drive.

i was wondering if you can give me an idea which is the best because i have not been to that part of the world. if for example, i have just enough for a trip around Europe, what and where would you suggest that i go, do or ride? all i can say is i am very curious about everything that i will be seeing there.

It is very easy for me to answer that question, because I am planning a trip around in Europe at the moment I plan on buying an interrail ticket that I can use for one month.

I am going to start in Germany, after that I am going to Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. I am going to take a ferry from Greece to Italy. I have already had the chance to visit many places in Italy, but I haven't been to Napoli and Milano yet, so I want to spend some days there. After that I am going to Switzerland and Austria. I have been to both countries before, but I didn't have chance to see much of them, so I would like to visit them again. I am going to stay in hostels or guesthouses, because that is less expensive.

I would love to travel by train.I would like to go to my favorite European cities.I would go to Rome,Vienna,Madrid,London,and Paris.I would like to go to guest houses.I would like to experience Europe by eating at local restaurants and shopping at local shops.

Like I've said so many times, I went to Europe in 1973 and we only spent 2 weeks over there. My parents and I were with a tour group and we were so rushed all the time. I think if I could go back and spend about a month over there, I wouldn't be so rushed all the time and I would get to see more. I would go back to the same countries I went to before, which were England, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France. I would also like to go to Austria and Greece. I think Greece would be very interesting to see. Kathy.

That depends. I think Italy, the boot would be fun by ferry, but France would be better by train. When you say "coach," do you mean car? England is confusing by car and so are other countries where they drive the opposite of Americans. Guest houses would be to my liking. Bed and breakfasts would be what I would like the most. Getting up in the morning and trying to find some place to eat and figure out where to go, neither my style nor my husband's. Five Star Hotels are a bit excessive. I don't need all that. We would be paying for all kinds of things we don't use.

I would love to have the big chance to be able to visit Europe someday. It is one of my dream destinations. I've heard lots of great raves about it.

I guess with regards to travelling about, it would depend if it's like a sponsored trip or by some lucky draw that I've won. Then I don't have to worry about any budgeting. I'd travel all the transportation that is available to be able to see all the beautiful places in Europe, in land and at sea. Also, with luck, five-star hotels would be lovely since I don't have to go about doing errands and doing cooking, cleaning up etc. It would be all easier when it's like lottery I've won. HAHA! Oh well, that's just wishful thinking that I can dream of. I'd love to see Italy especially Rome, along with France, Spain, Germany and Russia too. In fact, while we're at it in having the magic genie with this travelling ideas, all of Europe then :-)

Poland and Germany. I am Polish and would love to see where my father was born and raised. My husband is German. He's not aware of too many family members from there, but my dad also spoke German.
