Do you just begin a new love relationship when the former love gets over?  

I think that having a NEW love relationship comes with great responsibility. You have to go back with square 1 and you have to get to know your partner again. Should be more cautious and learn from the mistakes the last time.

well when hubby died i tried to get on with it as soon as possible. in the past a new man always helped me get over the last one. but this time it didnt work. i just cant stop comparing them and its been 8 yrs and still no one has been able to make me get over him.

I was dumped by a girl over another guy months ago and for that I wanted to have someone else right away. I was so hurt that the only thing that could help me get over her is to have another one right away. I was lucky to have a lovely girl that loves me more than the past one. We're in love right now and I think she deserves more than what I am giving her now. I just can't give her all.

I was never the kind of person that would bounce from one relationship to another. It has been a long time since I've been a dating woman. However, when I wasn't married, I would go a year or more between relationships. I think that those people that bounce from one relationship to another have a very hard time getting into a relationship that would last them for the rest of their lives. So, heaven forbid anything ever happen to my husband because I might never be in another relationship again.
