THe best antivrus  

To me the following order denotes the priority:

1. BitDefender - More Updates, consume less memory, great protection
2. Symantec Norton- Little bit memory consumer,more protection
3. Kaspersky- Good protection, Medium memory
4. McCafee- Good protection, Medium memory
5. ESNOD32- Less memory,Good protection,
6. Avira - Good protection
7. AVG- Less Memory, Less Protection
8. Avast - Less Protection
9. F-secure- Less Protection
10. Trend Micro- Less Protection

personally i recommend avira. I have been using this anti-virus program for over a year and my computer had never had any problem.

You know the best way of not catching a virus is not using the internet? Lol...

But be careful when you are surfing , dont go the random websites and dont download random stuff. Its the key of not catching a virus

I'm using F-secure. I carefully went through all the most popular antivirus programs by comparing the stats, reading reviews etc. and F-secure seemed to be the best in terms of memory consumption. In the tests it was obviously the one that slowed down the computer least (except from some absolutely awful programs that were low on features)... The scan itself was one of the fastest. The speed is a key component to me since my computer is really slow and I really don't want to slow it down more than I have to :D I've found F-secure to be very good, have gotten no threats and and it's been as fast as promised. The only downside for me is that my copy doesn't update the virus database automically even though it should... But this can be fixed by downloading an update program from their site and running it every other day or so, I haven't heard about anybody else having this problem so I guess it might have something to do with my internet connection that suddenly just shuts down every now and then, last time a couple minutes ago :D This might disturb the updating so maybe that's the reason for the problem... Dunno, but I still recommend F-secure :)

I had better use the nortonantivirus soft to prection my computer,the great advantage is be free for update.and have other trouble for using.and prection computer is all sides and complete.

I use Panda - as recommended by my friend, who's a pro. It's not too dear - and pretty much scans everything out. It's had top reviews for the speed it updates customers when new viruses emerge.

I tend to play alot of PC Games on my laptop so i use Avast as it has a function that doesn't disturb me while i play. To me it doesn't seem to take up much memory especially considering i have 1GB of ram. It updates daily and even blocks malicious code/virus etc. in websites. So when i go to a "bad" website it'll block the connection. Hmm what i'm trying to say is.. i love Avast..it's great :D

Well for the best Anti virus that I have been used is ESET Nod32 anti virus. With this anti virus my laptop is very safe have never been infected by any viruses. Before I used the AVG free anti virus but I still been infected with some virus.

I think avira is a good choice,it is free and can works on most of the mainstream operating system.But comodo antivirus+firewall is also a perfect choice.I am using it now.Comodo can not only kill the virus,but also prevent the system from being invaded.Of course comodo is a free software.Kill two bird with one stone,why not?

My personal reccommendation would be commodo. It offers antivirus, malware and firewall protection all for free. I have been using it for over two years and it has kept my computer clear. Before this I used Norton which did not detect a virus which totally wiped out my computer. Norton is expensive yet it does not work, so stick with free ones, they are every bit as good if not better.

I am using Quick heal antivirus since 2008, and didn't find any problem. My only problem is that whenever i visit " www.alertpay.com " my antivirus shows a trojan virus there. Is the website is infected or its time for me to look for a better antivirus software.
