What Could Be Expected In a BRIDAL SHOWER?  

i heard something about the bride getting some good things, gifts, during the shower. but what could be a husband expecting from the wife attending the shower? i mean, could he expect the wife to behave in the shower?

I don't think bridal showers ever turn out to wild like bachelor parties do or at least i have never heard of one being that way. I don't think u can compare the two things.

Think they had more than just a normal bridal shower, lol.

since both the girls, the bride and her big sister, are working in Canada, i know they have enough funds for the party and so as for the entire wedding, the church and the reception. i thought big sister shoulders the shower and she is also helping the bride with the other expenses.

big wedding, next year? i thought you are already wed with your hubby. so you mean, you still never experienced a bridal shower, as you are the bride, the celebrant?

Yes I am illegally married to my husband. No i didn't get to have all of that because we did our wedding through the Justice of the Peace. Meaning we did it through the court system. I really do what to have a nice outdoors wedding with all of our family that can be there. I'll experiences everything from my bridal shower, to bacherlet party and all next year. We just wanted to over with quick and easy the first the time, so we can relax and enjoy all of big wedding stuff next August.

so a bridal shower could also be like a bachelorette party for the bride to be? well, that seems to be what happened to last night's party.

i thought, i thought, i thought that would only be like that. but they really brought the bride to that bar and a disco house and had lots of drinks. wife got back home at 5 in the morning.

of course, tamara, i won't be going with them in the pub, in the gay bar. there was no party for the groom, bad guys.

i had no stag party or even a bridal shower for her before we got married. and yes, i don't think it is necessary though. but i think, the party itself is not organized by anyone of the two celebrants, i guess someone, say a sister or a friend, but not either of the two. of course, they are just additional expenses with the wedding proper.

Well,other may organized that both party but there's still a choice to attend or not to attend I guess,well for I'm not really fond doing so,why not just the organizer put it in cash for the couple to use after their wedding.

better idea, cloud. but the bride is not having much problem with expenses since her big sister is helping her. good for them for having a better life in canada. unfortunately, the foreigner groom lost his job so the wife-to-be (well actually, the wife already since they are already legally married, civilly in alberta) shoulders the expenses. everything from their travel to wedding to reception. at least, there is big sister behind her, she came here about 5 days before the wedding, from canada.

yes ybong, i only see them in the movies. so that means, both of us did not experienced the stag party before we got wed? if you are given a chance back, would you also like to have a stag party for you or a bridal shower for her?

I don't think i would enjoy that kind of party. I don't think my wife would enjoy either. So even if given a chance i wouldn't come up with that kind of party. In the movies, the women usually hire a macho dancer to entertain them or the men hire a striptease dancer. I don't think i would enjoy thinking that they're all having a party with that macho dancer out there .

that is actually what i was thinking last night, the feelings of knowing they are enjoying the dancers at the bar. anyway, we are mature enough so we don't have to do things that would only make the situation worse.

There's always a risk especially if there's alcohol around. A lot of people do stupid things when they're drunk.. But i think it's the men who are more at risk at getting tempted that the women.

bridal shower is fun,friends and families give gifts to the soon to be bride,some give naughty items,stag party is way different,more wild i guess..:)

myshing, bridal showers can also be wild, and they actually made their own version to our own bride.
