| Anyone driven the Proton Waja before?  | | | |  I certainly did and I am starting to fall in love with the car the more I look at it.
In fact, I was even thinking about getting one to drive.
But the problem is, the local markets is no longer bringing this model in. And I could not understand why.
Anyways, about this car, I like the way the car handles on the road. And on higher speeds, the performance of the car can really be felt. How it the car becomes more responsive to your driving demands as it cruises above 80 KPH.
Anyone here driven the Waja before?

| |  My dad is driving a Kia and he fell in love with it. He has urged me to get my driving license as soon as possible so I could drive him around the island! He doesn't believe in Malaysian cars as he think it is of lower quality than the Korean cars. I don't mind driving a Waja but I am not quite impressed by its design.

I personally driven one and I find the handling quite good. Even better than the Toyota Vios to some extend.
Kia... korean car. I have yet to drive that one. So no comments on that yet. | | | |

| | I dunno. Cos the first car I drove was the vios. And it was that vios that helped me to pass my license. And when I got behind the wheel of a waja, I can compare the difference.

IT's very rare to find proton in singapore, because it's a malaysian brand.. And it's cheap looking, thus it's not popular among ple here.. haha =D
However, cheap as it is, but it's smooth and if one knows how ot handle it properly, it wont lose out to those luxury cars we have here in singapore.. haha =D
PLus, proton cars are great for modifications!! hehe

| | Even the china made or korean makes in the local markets have some models that look plasticy.
Honestly, if you are referring to those manufactured in the early 2000, then maybe.
The latest few models they came up with are quite good actually.
And after having driven one myself, I find the make quality and handling pretty good.
If only they are priced a little better, I am sure it will have a huge market here!
