Create your own lane day

I didnt know there was such a day but, it seems to be celebrated quite regularly around here. There are 3 lanes approaching a 4 way traffic light on my way to the hospital but, that doesn't appear to be enough for some people and others just want to have a little play in all of them.
At another set of lights, there is a 'turn right' lane (remember, we drive on the left here) which starts about 100yards before the lights - so why do people think they should create that second lane as they come off the roundabout some 500yards earlier, even when the traffic is moving with no hold-ups?
Do you have many such creative drivers where you are... are you a lane-maker yourself?

There a creative drivers all over. There is even the "three can go on red" rule where my brother and his wife live, cause they are "special" and do not believe that red is stop.

Oh, yeah, we have those. We even have the "I will drive round you when you are at the front of a line of traffic that has stopped for a red light" & the "I have my indicator on so I am going to pull out even if you are already beside me and I force you into the path of an oncoming car". I've even met the "Just because YOU have stopped to let the pedestrian cross...on the pedestrian crossing... it doesn't mean I have to". After he'd driven into the back of me he said "What did you stop for???"
