My Lab/German shep mix pulls grass out of the ground..  

get her a beef hide not rawhide crew bone, she's teething.when she bites you tell her in a low voice no, and within weeks she'll know the difference in your voice what she can and cant do. my dog is just a year old and she's always chewing grass and rooting around the yard their just doing what they think is fun to them. it's like when some dog's continue to lick clothes, some vets say it's because they weren't weaned long enough before being sold, but that too will soon pass.

hi java shes still a puppy then and doing puppy things like pulling the
threads on the couch. Pulling grass and flowers probably she is teething she needs a rawhide dog chew or several really. tap her nose when she bites and say no no in a scolding tone.she will soon learn the tone of your voice means no.

If my memory serves me right, they said that dogs were kinda ill when they eat grass, they use the grass to heal their self something to that extent or they do it to improve their digestion. In the case of going under the couch I believe dogs were scared and untrusting during the occurrences of such behaviors.

My dogs eat grass all the time. My vet said it's generally due to something akin to heartburn or acid that makes them eat the grass. Might want to take your pup to the vet to get her checked out for that. Since my dogs are older (one is 10, the other 3) I just let them eat the grass because it's the most natural way to fix their problem. As far as the thread pulling, well that just sounds like normal puppy behavior! lol. I've gotten lots of tips and trick on controlling behavior by watching "The Dog Whisperer". It's an awesome show and Cesar Millan really knows what he's talking about! I learn something new every episode. Check it out if you've got a chance and maybe it will help you to control those undesirable behaviors before they get out of control.

Puppies do puppy things! Eating grass is natural to a lot of animals...helps with digestion I think. As far as playing with things and biting, eventually she will grow out of it. I think if I had a 7 week old puppy and she was lethargic then I would worry!
