My husband killed a snake  

lmao! I know what you mean. We were camping a few years ago, whole family, and there was a rattler. Thank goodness hubby carried a 357 for just such an occasion. He told me to get all the kids down to the beach, then in a little time, he cam walking down with a rattle! My hero! Thank goodness it was the 4th of July, nobody noticed the gun shot.

hi LillyBelleDaisyRose well I was just a kid with a garden hoe and no huband to defend me and my father the doctor was never around when needed anyway. I was sent to pick some plums in the upper orchard and almost stepped on side winder,rattle snake.So I used the hoe at once as I did not intend to get bit and chopped off its head before it could bite my leg. raised on a farm in South Dakota a lot of farm kids get pretty good at defending themselves. My granddad always oiled and sharpened our garden tools so it was sharp and it worked as I wanted it to.
