Best Buy Finally In Britain From The US/Canada. Is It Any Good?

My husband told me earlier that Best Buy have finally found a big enough site for one of their stores, in Thurrock, Essex. I show the link to this below. Question is; what is your experience in the US and Canada of this store? The likes of Comet, PC World, Currys and the like (well-established firms over here) will be quaking in their boots if Best Buy is any good. Best Buy is a big store in Canada and the US but I don't deal there because they have a $15.00 restocking fee if you return an item to the store. Most of the other electronics stores in North America will allow you to return a purchase for free. There is a good amount of competition in the Electronics Trade, and You never know when a new purchase will prove unsatisfactory. When this happen, I hate to pay a restocking fee, which is just a rip-off by the store.

Wow, I'm not surprised you don't like Best Buy if they charge £15.00 restocking fee for returns. What a swizz! I hope that doesn't catch on over here!

Mostly good products and prices. Watch out for their re-stocking fee on returns and the penalties on things like late payments.
