Do you hate the Google "always on" feature and want to be rid of it?

I was aggravated to start a search the other day and see an annoying side bar to the left. I tried and tried to be rid of it but no dice! Finally, after 30 minutes of looking, I found the solution on their "help" forum--it seems there are hundred of people that feel just like me!
To get rid of that sidebar, go to "settings" in the right hand corner, choose "search settings" in the drop down menu and then go to "interface language". Choose "Elmer Fudd" or "Pirate". When you open Google search again, that stupid side bar on the left is gone! Hooray!!
I hope this helps someone.

You'll have to do it again every time you shut off your computer. A small price to pay for getting rid of that stupid thing!
