|  I did not buy the product advertised on TV but saw a similar one at Bed, Bath and Beyond. A sales lady saw me looking and I asked her if I could return it if Gus tore it up and she said yes, anything in the store can be returned for any reason. So I took a deep breath and put it in my cart--at $9.99, that's no cheap toy but the return policy convinced me.
It's been a week and this flimsy-looking toy is still going strong!! Gus has tremendous jaw strength and when he gets hold of something and shakes it or plays tug with me he about pulls my arm out of the socket! He has really put this toy through the wringer but it is still intact, albeit missing a bit of its fake fur. The squeakers are still firmly ensconced on each end and the only problem is that Cookie wants one, too. I think this toy is pretty tough! For a toy to last a week in this household is almost a miracle.
I would recommend this toy for medium sized or small dogs. I'm not sure about larger dogs, though. Note: Gus is a Boston Terrier, 37 pounds, strong jaws, very tall and long for a BT just as they originally bred them. So you know it's not only small dogs that can enjoy this.

| |  I've been wondering how they hold up. I have two chihuahuas and my female is quite the toy destroyer.,..lol She pulls the stuffing out of everything...even her bed. I have started just using cheap bed pillows in her basket, I can get them for about 3.00 at walmart so it helps. I will be making a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond this weekend for sure. My male just like to snuggle with toys or use them as a pillow, but keeping his away from my female is not the easiest job...especially if it is something she wants..lol Thanks for sharing.

| |  This is a great review of a product. I do not have dogs to destroy things. I just do it myself. Some of the cutest toys I have seen have been for dogs.

| | Your Coco has a little short snout that means she has good jaw strength, great for tearing up toys! Cookie's is longer and of course Gus with his smooshed nose (not as bad as some poor BTs) makes for tremendous jaw strength!
