has anyone of you been guilty or living beyond your means? i just remembered this topic upon thinking of the book (and movie) Confessions of a Shopaholic.
I think i was before when i started working. suddenly i had money and just stuff until all my credit cards got maxed out. but after a while (2 years?) i got hold of myself and promised myself that i should always find room for savings.
please share your experiences and opinions on living beyond one's means! thanks!

I don't usually live beyond my means, but a few years ago I let the credit card debt get a little out of control. I usually pay it off every month, but it was several months that I could get it paid down that time. I have no intention of ever doing that again!

I used my credit card and now I am suffering to pay, i am felling guilty now as to why I have bought things which I could have abstained from. Everytime it is like this when I promised to myself that I will be more careful but the moment the money is in hand I tend to but new things.
