It is possible to do work without mouse on computer..?  

surely it is possible to work on computer without mouse.. but surely it needed lots of practice and you have to remember lots of shortcut keys on keyboards.. i can also do some stuff without mouse but not all.. mostly opening application, drives, copying , pasting , surfing and some others..

I cant work without mouse but my college's computer operator can. It makes me surprise when he type a whole paper without mouse.

Since I do not memorize the shortcut keys in keyboard it is impossible for me to work without a mouse. Even if I memorize the shortcut keys it is much easier to do work with a mouse in your hand.

Yes it's possible to work on computer without mouse. Moreover if you can gain this knowledge then you can save time to typing because when you type then if you use mouse it's takes little time.
And me no i am not able. I never try to do so.

YES this is absolutely possible to use the computer without mouse. but all these accessories help alot using in computer.
i know many shortcut but while using the laptop i prefer the mouse with that. means this is simple that using mouse make the computer use easier.

When I was at college, I found a way to use the up, down, left and right arrow keys to move the mouse pointer. I think you have to enable mouse keys or something like that.

I don't see why you would do that though, it's very slow. I prefer to use the tab button if I am not using the mouse.

Yes, it is possible. You don't need to know every single key shorcut or every application you use, you just need to know the very basic ones and the nice thing is that most likely the basic key combination will be the same on different programs.

I use the keyboard almost all the time when surfing the web and what I'm telling of the same key combinations is true for browsers. With Ctrl+t I open a new tab, with Ctrl+w I close it and to change between tabs the combination alt+tab does the trick.

So yes, it's possible and actually I think doing it improves the speed of use of the computer.

well you can but it is hard if you don't know the shortcut keys. i think i have seen a program that you can use your arrow keys as virtual mouse but dunno if that will help.

Yeah, like in the laptops. But in my case, if I would have my own laptop someday, I would really prefer to have a mouse since it would really take long minutes or hours for me here in front of my computer since I don't really know about those shortcut stuff and everything and I am no expert about this computer stuff. So, I would definitely love to have a mouse.

Our mouse was broken months ago..so, it was really tough for us to do something in here, so I immediately bought a mouse and it's cute since it's red. It's the only colorful thing in my PC since all of them are black...and it's the only red...

Knowing the short keys goes a long way to enabling one work without a mouse pad. The computer system is such that vvery few however can navigate through without a mouse attached to the system.
I'll however suggest going to tour windows xp or vista. This will give an over view of windows operation with or without the mouse.
