it is really wonderful. we have a famous beach sand artist here in INDIA, at a place called BHUBHANESWAR. .. and, you will be amazed by the creativity.
I just got a mail, informing the beautiful creativity, if you have broken the vase'.
How to Turn Broken Ceramics Into Art
Look at the pieces of ceramic with a new eye: as raw material for art. Figure out how much area the pieces will cover and whether they are small enough.
Break up bigger pieces carefully. Place them in a pillow case or old sock and tap them - not too hard, but not too softly - with a hammer. Stop when you have pieces small enough to lie flat on the surface to which you'll attach them.
Choose the object you will decorate. Consider a wide picture frame for pieces of smaller objects, a flowerpot or - if you have lots of pieces - the top of an end table

The same techniques would work with pieces of a broken mirror or to recycle colored glass bottles.

that is really wonderful. and, by doing so,you are creating a diversion to your mind, thereby causing a sweet vocation to de-stress. also, you will be able to create master-pieces. may be someday, they will be auctioned too.

I have only seen sand art once and that was many years ago, but I still remember how beautiful it was. I went on a date with a guy who lived in a different part of the country and he asked me if I had ever seen sand art. I said no and then he took to me to a place where there were lots sand art. We walked around for a long time and I really enjoyed looking at the beautiful things that people had made, I was really impressed. I think it could be fun to try it one day

Ongtina I have never seen what you describe but it does not sound complicated. I bet if you experimented and practiced you could create this same kind of art yourself.
