call it 'the blues', "waking up on the wrong side of the bed" we've all felt it at one time or another, for no particular reason, you feel sad or anxious for a day, a week, maybe several weeks..why does it happen? does it happen to you? what did you do about it? as for me, if i feel i am getting mood swings, i eat chocolate! =)

Hello there! I know what feeling anxious is like but I try not to get anxious about feeling anxious, otherwise I will feel er, more anxious lol.

Seriously, though, I have always been like this I reckon and I don't think there is anyone on the planet who has not felt down at some stage in their lives.

It has also been proved that money doesn't necessarily make you feel better either..although I wouldn't mind that huge Euromillions that a Brit has claimed this weekend. I'm sure I would find something to spend all that money on...get away from this city for a start!rofl

I think there are some factors why we feel anxious. money will make me better! =) if it will be given by that Brit. Like you, there are so many things running in my head right now how am i going to spend that euromillions. Just a dream for us, yay! =)

Well I will have a lot going on in the next few days to stop me from feeling too bad. I shall be visiting my Mum, we will go to Wembley to watch our local team play and next week I have an interview here in Carlisle for a job.

I go for weeks when nothing happens then everything comes along at once.

Oh, and the sun is out now...it's getting warmer at last. This ALWAYS cheers me up.

OOOOOH. Emotional eating!!!

HAHAHAHA no i'm just kidding. I do that too. I end up chewing David's Sunflower seeds, usually from boredom or complacency. Its a weird one.

I felt anxious a couple days ago. Like sumn bad was gon happen. that happens sometimes. I get this feeling like there's a dank, damp pit in my stomach. Its very uncomfortable.

I dont get mood swings, but i'm an eccentric person (i think). I am how i am. Mood swings? nah. we have our highs and lows right? Every 3 minutes probably not lmao.

aha! i do that too, i have some extra muchies on my locker and whenever i feel stressed or anxious about some pressures in my job, i rushed to my locker and munch some corn bits, i don't really mind the cctv camera..LOL..

If i feel like that or even stressed out i tend to try to keep myself busy as that way at least i have done what i was needing todo aswell as sometimes i feel better for doing something.There are times where as i just can not get into the mood of doing anything and that is due to feeling very low.

you can still think of doing something? woooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww...when i am stressed i feel that my brain stops funtioning that i just cannot continue what i am doing. i need a bottle of water, i just got stressed now..hehehe. you mean you don't stop?

I think there are some things that you do that are pretty automatic, so you do them whether you want to or not. You know, being a little dehydrated may make you feel stressed. Getting online, and coming to MyLot often helps me fell better as well.

i do, but he is one of the things i can get stressed about. so many issues between us, i just don't know how i can burst it out..grrr..=(

neh357 I try to find something to make me laugh while I nibble on that dark dark chocolate. I am impatiently waiting for myson to get that job so i can move out of here so yes I do g et the blues at times but I make myself snap out of it by laughing and by listening to the mozart works i love the most. music does indeed help me to get happy again. As being morose only makes you all the bluer and who needs that. get those headphones and listen to the music you love. now. today or tonight.lolcheering

I observed that when I am thinking of a problem before I sleep at night, when I wake up in the morning I feel heavy and no appetite for work. I just stay at home, make few business calls, watch vcd's and back to sleep again.

Definitely, i believe that thinking about these problems affect you when you wake up. reading a good book or just remembering all the good things that happen in a day will help us get rid of this anxiety and anxiousness thing. maybe you overslept? that is why when you wake up, you feel that you have used all your energy.

When I am having mood swings, I try to determine certain things: Am I sleeping enough?, Am I eating the right foods? Do I take the supplements that make me feel good? Do I get enough fresh air, and sunshine? Am I moving and exercising enough? Yes, eating chocolate often helps, there are good fats, healthy antioxidants, caffeine and minerals among other things in chocolate. It does make us feel good. Another thing that helps is to talk things over with someone who is a good listener. Finally a third thing to help us feel better is to do something good for someone else. It almost always lifts our spirits to do good things.

I haven't think about that, doing something good for someone else when stressed, this having mood swings started when our team leader in my job have so many expectations, and you got it! i do not get enough sunshine because i am asleep throughout the day and awake at night. whew! water is my therapy right now, i am feeling dehydrated this past few days.

The blues and it's something that everybody feel from time to time. When we are upset and in bad mood we can only think is getting out of house and getting away from the rest of the world. We always have that feeling of wanted to scream and wanted to tear our own clothes to shake those bad feelings.

I fell blues most of the time since being confined in the house all day long. It's really boring and I will go crazy sometimes. Sometimes I would just go out and be somewhere like in the church or do some window shopping.

Maybe all your activities are routinary and unconciously you don't like doing those stuff over and over. Chances are, you will get bored and have some mood swings. If I am feeling like that, (I am a homebody), I try to text some friends and talk about anything. I invite them for coffee or just a little chat. Window shopping also cheers me up, it makes me feel i am still connected to this complicated world. =)

There are a lot of times that I wake up having in a bad mood. It doesn't mean that I have some problems or anything like that, I think as what you've said, it's just some mood wings that's hitting my way.

So, what I always do is just go along throughout the day and I don't do if I harm someone because of it. Maybe I did, but I just didn't knowangry.

Yes, in this mood, we should definitely control about it and we should not include people in our surroundings if we have this bad mood.

I remember when I woke up this morning and feeling really bad and I just ignored my mother when she talked to me. Glad that she just laugh and I think she knows already that I wasn't in a good mood at all.

Mood swings are normal. There are some connections within our brain and our emotions that we cannot decipher. I noticed that all the mood swings comes after we jump out of our beds, carried on through the day, and after that, another mood swing,.we can be very upset in certain hours without any particular reasons at we can also be very happy about simple things. Oh, the miracle of mood swings. =)

I usually feel like this after I have a bad dream or when I have a hang over. Most of the days I usually wake up fresh and good. If I feel down one remedy I usually do is exercise or drinking coffee. It usually lifts my mood.

Uh,uh. Hang over. It can trigger bad moods naturally. I guess because of the alcohol. Maybe coffee is your thing, but i think it is not associated to lifting moods because it has caffeine in it. Well, we do have our own ways to comfort ourselves.
