Converter - Video Converter into any video file
hi siligurl i think you can just change its extension file into .txt from .mp4 or .mpeg4 format.. and open it via notepad, surely it will be transformed into text file, but if you are talking about the voice in the video into text you can use voice detection software which can translate sound in the video into text.. good luck

I presume that you want to transcribe the audio track - in other words, you are looking for a Voice-to-Text solution. The only commercially available software which would even potentially be capable of this, as far as I know, is Dragon Naturally Speaking. The Pro version of this claims to be able to accept and transcribe audio files of dictated text. I haven't used this particular version but I do know that the version I have used (which only accepts speech direct from a microphone) requires considerable training to recognise a particular speaker's voice and also some discipline on the part of the speaker to speak distinctly and consistently enough for it to even approach any real semblance of usefulness. If you just have one video (or a few) to transcribe, you might consider this a suitable task or tasks to offer on one of the sites such as Amazon Turk, Microworkers or MyLot. You could either break the video/audio into several sections and offer each section as a task or you could ask for the whole video to be transcribed as a single task. I have no idea what a suitable fee for this might be (and the actual time taken to transcribe, say, 5 minutes of audio would depend on the quality of the audio and how good an ear and typing speed the worker possessed) but you might think in terms of $1 per 5 minutes of video, perhaps.

I have never heard of any such software. How can a video be changed into text? Even if it is possible I cannot help you in any way in this regard. Very sorry. I have however heard of softwares which can detect text in a picture and can convert them to actual text. I do not know the name of such software and also do not have any idea if there is one which is available for free. But I do know that they exist.
