Do I have to include a Cover Letter on sending my Resume?  

Some jobs require a cover letter and some don't. I sometimes send one anyways because it doesnt hurt to impress them with you're creative resume and cover letter. But do what you think is best and that will help you get the job. Good luck and I hope you get the job you're applying for.

With reference to your question, cover letters are just a plain introduction. It depends on you or on the recipient. There are times, if the recipient receives it by simply clicking on the attachment part of the email, then there is no indication what job you are applying for, then maybe he or she will find it hard to categorise your resume. There are times, especially in big companies, there are different trays where to put the resumes and it is place according to classification.

However, there are companies now a days that they dont print anymore the cover letter, hence, maybe they are saving some sheet of paper that is why they are just taking it for granted.

Of course, that is a very professional thing to do. You see, a cover letter is like an introduction of yourself. A good cover letter will make your potential employer want to read you resume. If your resume got read, the higher the chance you will get an interview with them.
