If you've recently lost your wife, I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be incredibly difficult, especially after being married for so long. I hope that family and friends will be kind to you and supportive in your time of need. I hope you have the comfort of wonderful memories, and that your spirit finds peace during this sad time.

During difficult times I have also found that online friends, here and at other sites that I frequent, offer a balm for the soul that friends and family who are physically closer can't match. Maybe it's because those close to us feel obligated to say the right words, but online friends are under no such obligation. What they say comes from their hearts...if they say anything at all.
Another advantage of online friends, is that within any e-community there are also kindred souls who are feeling and experiencing exactly what you are, and at the same time. People can hold each other up, even if they are physically a world apart.
I wish for you the kindness and support that you need and deserve in the days and months that follow. Hugs!

I lost my husband 10 years ago and I still miss him. I am with you that life without your partmer id much harder even though they say that women are more resielent and get over it sooner. I say that you learn to live without, but it´s not easy. Even if you find another partner, there´s always that emptiness where there should be only one person in the world.
