I have been away from mylot for the last 12 months or so and wanted to know if there have been any major changes in this time.I have noticed I have not seen a lot of my old friends to ask them. Are we paid them same as we did back then or have things changed, have a lot of people moved on. I would just like to catch up. Cheers Sue

I know what you mean. I am still here but most of the people I had as friends have disappeared. I think the format has changed a bit....but pay etc is about the same. I do think they are a little fussier now about what you put into the discussions as alot of them are deleted....which is fine....go by the rules!

There have been many changes here in the last year. Some Lotters post rarely or are not posting at all but other new ones have arrived too. You can see for your self that there are well over 200,000 Lotters aho have joined now!
The most important addition is our residnet admin, GoAskAlice.
You can find here here:
http://www.mylot.com/GoAskAlice
She first asked us about bugs then asked for suggestions and then myLot did an upgrade which altered several things.
You can read about some of them here:
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2251406.aspx
You are probably aware of the 'tasks' because they started over a year ago.
What you and many others are not aware of are the changes to the DRS (Discussion Rating System). We can now only rate each user for a total of 11 times in each 24 hour period and new users cannot rate until they receive their own star.
There are rewards for searching and, this is my favourite, new referrals are automatically our friends which means that we can welcome them and guide them here too. Earnings for participating in the discussions are as always - if you are actively discussing, you earn.
Best that you check the FAQs and Guidelines because there might be new things there that you are unaware of too.
Welcome back!

Thanks for that great information, i have a lot of reading to do. The rewards for searching sounds good and I will check in about the tasks as well. Yes the numbers of mylotters have certainly grown which is good, and plenty of good discussions I would think. Thanks again Cheers Sue

Thanks for asking Suehan1, me too. So I am interested in the replies that you get. I have recently found a great group to share the workload so will be able to spend more time with my Mylot friends. Cant tell you about it cos discussion got deleted but it is making me very happy so fingers crossed it makes me money too.
