Bowl or cup........

I am safer from spills in a cup, but usually we have it in bowls at the table. If I am eating alone, I eat it out of a cup often.

We usually use a bowl. I had some very large soup cups, but my son & dil enjoyed them so much that they got a new home.

hi snowqueen 200802 as we always get our soup served in a bowl thats the way I must eat it. You are right it would be good to have it in a cup as after you eat the solid part you could drink the brook easier from a cup. So I just eat the solid parts slowly then spoon up the broth and hope I do not spill some on myself.

I have had my soup in a cup but prefer a bowl. I'm a piglet, the cup doesn't hold enough, lol.

Cup all the way. Even Chili or anything runny=soupy I eat out of a big coffee cup

That is a very good point about being able to drink it faster. however I am a bowl person. I can not stand the small opening of the cup , It drives me nuts!! Also what you said reminded me of when I was younger and I had the bowls where there was a straw that was connected to the bottom of the bowl so you didn't have that kind of problem! I wish I still had those bowls!
