I love Dolly!! (I am speaking of Dolly Parton.) Did you see her on Oprah Friday? She is such a dear. She took Oprah on a tour of her home on wheels and was it something! I think she is such a cool person and has such a good outlook. She looks different lately in the face though. Not sure what that is all about. I just think she is such a trooper and one heck of a woman! I am so proud of her for going ahead and buy Dollywood even when her financial adviser didn't think it was a good idea. Did you know she has a make-up line? Remember her short lived tv show? I had heard that somewhere afew years ago. Here is the link from one of my favorite sites:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000573/ Some of my favorites movies with her in them were 9 to 5, Steep Magnolias, and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. Gotta love her! What are your thoughts?

Oh, you need to see Steel Magnolias too. It was good and she was grand in it. Her and Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine and Darryl Hannah. Oh, and Sally Feild. Good movie. She is a sweetheart for sure.

She's doing great with Dollywood and Dixie Stampede..oh and we musn't forget Splash Country. She is a great person. She was actually here this weekend promoting that partial ticket sales would go to helping the people in Nashville suffering from the flood. Let's just say that Pigeon Forge was very hectic today..lol.

Ya, I am glad she went ahead and bought it anyway. I wasn't aware of the other two. That is great that she was there this week-end. I would love to see it all someday. Do you know a town by the name of Morristown? It is in northeastern Tennessee.

I think Dolly is cute and I think she sings very well. I like her outlook on life, too. My favorite movie with her in it is 9 to 5. That movie is so funny and it's especially one I can identify with, as I've been in the work world and had to deal with difficult bosses, lo! My sister and I went to Dollywood in 1986, not long after it first opened and we really enjoyed it. I don't like the way Dolly dresses, though. It seems like I remember hearing she had a makeup line.

She is a cutie isn't she?! I feel a need to say I am sorry that you can relate to 9 to 5 so well. It is a funny movie. The guy in it is great! I envy you being able to go to Dollywood. I would love to go some day. She has a little apartment there and is on the grounds occasionally. What a nice life she has.

I think Dolly is very funny! I'm a country singer, myself. I sing and play the guitar and I really enjoy country music. I like some of the old country but I'm mainly into the new country. I grew up listening to rock music and I enjoy listening to the oldies a lot, too. I used to travel a lot and I would love to go back to Dollywood! I can't afford it these days, though.

You can also check Dolly Parton site for giving away free books to children. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWUAkeI2MD0
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a nonprofit organization that promotes early childhood literacy by giving free age-appropriate books to children from birth to age 5.
