A really good way to improve your English is to read a huge amount of books as this will allow you to learn new words and improve your vocabulary. It is most likely why my language is as good as it is today as I read thousands of books when I was younger.

There are a couple of ways you can improve your English. You can correspond with native English speakers from the UK or US, you can read English language publications out loud, you can watch old movies where people spoke English properly without all the slang and affectations used today and you can use online language learning resources.

There really are a lot of reliable options that do not even require that you speak to another person to learn. Then you can practice by speaking with someone who is fluent in English.
