what to do with falling hair? |
| |
| I am currently having problems with falling hair. I see my hair all over my room and my bath room. Not just the normal falling hair, but it is very numerous to count. A friend of mine told me that it is because I have a very thick hair, I mean the strands of my hair are very thick. Could what my friend told me be true? What do you think I should do to keep my hair from falling? | | | | | |

| | I also had that problem before and I thought that it comes with aging. But a friend told me to cut my hair short (shoulder length), eat lots of protein and calcium, wash hair regularly, and use hair fall control shampoo and conditioner (pantene or sunsilk, they both worked for me), I've did all of them and I have no problems with falling hair anymore. ^_^ | | | | | | |

| | Good for you. My hair is now short but it is still falling. Hair fall shampoo and conditioner doesn't work for me, infact it made it worse. Urgh! Maybe I can eat protein and calcium, maybe that's what I lack. Thank you for the info. | | | |

| | You're welcome Kharlav, after reading all the posts here the only reason left that I'm aware of is too much hair treatment like blowdrying, perm, etc. If it's still not the case maybe it's best if you consult a hair professional as early as now. Have you tried scalp stimulation? Try massaging your scalp lightly I've read that it makes your hair roots more healthy. ^_^ | | | |

| | I haven't had my hair treated for a year. I stopped because it just made my hair get drier and drier. Maybe i'll try scalp stimulation, maybe that's another thing I lack because when I take a bath I dont really massage my scalp very well when putting shampoo. | | | |

| | I had this since I was in the Elementary, so it might not be stress. I always have enough sleep, even more than what I need. Maybe I could cut-down my caffeine, I always have been a coffee lover. What's the Vitamin E softgel capsule for? What can it do to my hair?.. | | | |

| | Well, there could be many reason of falling your hair, like tension, too much work, long illness, poor diet, imbalance of hormones etc.. You can cure it by taking high protein diets like fruits, green vegetables, and dairy products, besides this you must drink 10-12 glass of water every day. If you like then you can use some of the home remedies like you can apply Almond oil on your scalp and message. These are some ways to cure hair falling. If you wanna know more you may Google it. | | | | | | |

| | well minoxidil can help you grow your hair back but consult a specialist first because it has some side effects especially dangerous to those with heart problems. | | | | | | |

| | I had to change shampoo, but only those that fits my scalp, because I have dandruff if I dont change once in a while. I tried conditioner but it doesn't help, it made it worse. I think because it made my roots softer so it falls off more. Thank you anyway. Happy Mylotting there. | | | |

| | i have read that a hundred strands of hairfall a day is actually normal, more than that is not... neweiz, i expereinced the same thing before back in college... i could see my hair scattered on the floor... it alarmed me so i tried hair fall control shampoo from pantene and i guess it made it worse... i changed back to my shampoo which is rejoice... and i dont comb specially brush my hair when its wet.. the hair is brittle when wet so avoid combing it... but if you really have to, use big tooth comb... i have a very long hair now.. and i seldom notice hair fall.. i use big tooth comb and when its dry thats the time i use my regular comb or brush... and oh, i beleive emu oil would help too.. try it.. :) | | | | | | |

| | hair are like plants. Always water it. Shampoo and conditioner are like fertilizers, they do improve the hair, but too much applications of it would cause dry hair. Try taking a bath once and a while. | | | | | | |

| | I tend to have hair fall out, but it's nothing that ever seems to be in excess. I straighten my hair a lot and I have longer hair for a guy (as you can see in my avatar) and my hair is really thick as well. It's been like this for years ever since I grew my hair longer, but my hair has yet to seem like it's thinning out or anything so I think it's normal depending on your hair type. | | | | | | |

| | Do you have thick hair strand or you just have so many hair that made it thick?.. My hair is not thinning out, is still very thick. I just dont like my hair falling because they are all over the floor, on my bed and in the bathroom, and they are not few, they are so many. | | | |
