People that achieve their dreams

In a lifetime a person might dream of achieving some things. Like he or she might wish to do well at school. Then he or she might dream about going into a particular career. Sometimes a teenager isn't certain what career he or she wants to go into. Some people have dreams that are easier to reach than others. Like have a baby is easier than go to the moon. A lady could try to get pregnant but she wouldn't be able to get a trip to the moon. Have you got any dreams for the future? Are some easy to achieve and are others way too challenging?
My dreams:
1. Travel around the world. I managed that when I was 20 to 21 years old
2. Buy a house. I did that when I was 19 years old.
3. Have children. I now have three of those.
4. Pass my practical driving test. I finally managed to do that earlier this year.
5. Get a camper van.
6. Buy a summer house. I hope to do that this year.

I have dreams but i prefer to call them goals. My goals in life is to find a job thats able to support me and my future family. I also like to have a home with a halfcourt size basketball space. I'd like to have a family van. I also want to have a business where i can earn extra income. Almost every goal i have is hard so i need to work even harder so i can achieve my goals.

Congratulations on achieving most of your dreams. And goodluck for the rest which you are about to complete soon!
When I was younger, I had big dreams. But as I grew older, and a bit more familiar with life, I realized that your dreams have to be measurable and achieveable to manage your expectations. Like you, I think I've managed to get most of my dreams. The only dream left for me is to be still around when my kids finally have a lives of their own. And to see them as successful adults.

maximax8,
For a goal oriented person like myself, I wouldn't exactly call my achievements dream motivated.
I have achieved with most of what you have mentioned here but my other goals on the list would be:
1. To hit my $20 million mark in earnings
2. To retire in 2 years time.
Not that I do not dream which I do have and that will be to buy up a castle in Black Forest, Germany and convert it into a hotel for travelers to stop by and stay for a night. There will be nightly entertainment of stars from all over the world singers, musicians and even the world famous circus.

Hi Max,
You've achieved so much in such a short time, you are an amazing person. Very few people achieved what you had, and I'm sure you are an inspiration to others. Indeed, if you plan ahead, and work on it, chances are you'll get it. As for me, I've already achieved some, and still working on the others. Hopefully, I'll be able to have them all before I approach retirement age.

I am still so young and still dreams. I dream only simple things.
I want to be loved seriously and I dream to be able to have somethings that I crave for usually gadgets and stuff. It's not as big as your dream but I think Life is just this simple and worthwhile to spend so much!

Hi Max, Firstly well done in acheiving all you have so far. My main dream in life was to live by the sea which in 2000 I managed to achieve. I always wanted children which I have three but didn't see it as a goal or a dream but as a natural process of life as I grew up I guess. Huggles. Ellie :D

You are fortunate enough. I'm a floating person. I have no dream. Now where I am, this is my fate. I have a good job and an apartment.I visited some countries in Asia. Those were not my dream. I got these without any effort. I want to search myself. Am I so what I think about myself?

I have achieved some of my dreams,I have also had several goals that I didn't achieve, but at least I know that I tried.
I wanted to work abroad and I achieved that when I was in my mid-twenties. I had a couple of jobs in other countries and I learned a lot. I also had a dream about visiting many different countries, and I have had the chance to around in Europe several times, but there are still some countries that I haven't seen for instanse Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. I am going to visit those countries this year and my next goal is a trip in Asia
I had a dream about working with people and I have achieved that goal. I have worked in nursing homes, kindergardens, homes for people with special needs etc. In the future I want to do some voluntary work as well.

You are very fortunate maximax that you were able to achieve all that you want in your life. Maybe, there is no more you can ask for because from your statements I can see that you are happy and successful. As for me, I can say that I am like a ship in the middle of the ocean. I have many wants in life but maybe because of our poverty that I cannot attain it easily. Here are the goals I have in life that I had achieve already. I had my Philippine Regulatory Commission Id. I got it after passing the nose bleeding exam on Licensure Examination for Teachers. I was able to keep my name on the dean's list and was able to get reward from our congressman here. I was able to teach for one school year in a public school. I successfully passed the GCAT exam on the university where I want to enroll for my Master's Degree. Here are other goals that I want to achieve.
1. Be a public school teacher
2. Graduate successfully with my Master's Degree
3. Get married with my boyfriend
4. Travel around the world
5. Purchase a laptop or a notebook computer

Wow, you are some achiever maximax!
When I started, my paternal aunt was dreadfully against my father establishing himself (buying a house). For me it was an uphill task as I had to counter the sibling rivalry of previous generation. Moreover, jobs were hard to come by, and the one that I got didnt really pay enough. We had to rough the weather as at times monies were not enough to meet the expenses at the end of the month. Now, things have calmed considerably. But by the time I got my house I was well past 40, so neither marriage nor children could be there in path. Today, I have managed to prove to others how dad's sister sabotaged his life and mine. I have the whole world's support. Was it worth it? I dont know. Only time will tell.
I am ok. As of now, dad is a responsibility. If my relatives dont cascade upon me, I hope to be able to look after a mentally challenged child at least as long as I am alive. I think that would be one relationship worth experiencing. When the person needs you and possibly loves you and has no ulterior motive in showing such dependence.
The idea of a camper van is very appealing. :) And so also a summer house. :) You seem to be charting my future path dear lady!

It seems that people who actually develop some sort of strategy to achieving things get them done. Imagine that. It is inspiring when people actually want to do things in life and are able to get them done. Thank God.

the first thing to achieve our dreams is first, to do everything to achieve it.
i believe in this phrase. It is usually the first step or hurdle that will hinder us of achieving our dreams

I don't have any solid dreams but I know I wanna be stable financially in the future. That's all there is in my planbook embedded in my mind.
What I do is I just plan one thing at a time to make things more organized for me. I don't wanna get confused on what path to tread towards my success. As long as I'm seeing where I'm going then it's all good.

Wow! You have already achieved a lot of your dreams, which is wonderful!!
I wanted to have 4 children and I have achieved that. I wanted to write a book and have done that, as I have self-published several at Lulu. (There's a link to this in my profile.) I have travelled to lots of countries but only within Europe and my last trip was before I became a mum, so I would like to travel overseas more in the future. My dream is to go to Romania, but there are lots of places I'd love to visit. I would also like to study more and get my degree and to become a grandmother!
