Do you believe that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"?  

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We do not all perceive beauty in the same ways. What may be unattractive to someome, but be found beautiful by others. Beauty is what you believe.

If we all agree on what beauty is, there will not be anyone left on earth. We will all be going for that one beauty.

My husband thinks I am the best thing ever on earth (please don't tell him that he's wrong, I am enjoying it) same way that I think he is the best thing on earth. I am sure most of the people will not agree with him or me, for that matter.

Yes, I am in agreement with you. We all have different tastes and like different things. For example, I love pet rats and think they are beautiful animals. I am happy to cuddle rats and let them sit on my shoulder, but others hate them and are scared of them. Many people think famous actors like Brad Pitt are attractive, but I don't think he is my type at all, so I do not admire him that way.

I believe that Beauty is in the eye of beholder. Beautiful from others may be not beautiful for us and we have different perspective in viewing life or person. I my everyday life, I see lot of beautiful women on my Work place bur for others they told me that not for them. So, in this, i'm also not expecting all people to like me because I understand well that beauty is in the eye of beholder...

I think that there are alot of people that are pretty on the inside yet ugly to look at and then there are the other types that are pretty on the outside but a really nasty person on the inside then there are people that are both.Everyone has different tastes in things so it is each to their own.

I am sure of it 100%. You can never guess what somebody will find beauty in...and I am the prime example! I am 64 and my partner is 24 !

Abstract things don't share a common definition. Yes, its true that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I have seen people in love, with people who are difficult to tolerate. lol! So, its perfectly true.

On material things too, yes we are all individuals with our own identity and likes and dislikes…similarly, our idea of beauty is also unique to each one of us. We may follow certain genres but that also coz we find that particular style beautiful.

You are absolutely right that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Understanding about the beauty will differ person to person.Some may give importance to outlook and some may talent.But ultimately all are right in their own way.I do believe in inside beauty.

If beauty in in the eye of the beholder, then why don't we do beauty contest at all? We may look beautiful to some people but generally, if you are looking for a true beauty, you should use several eyes. Meaning, ask for the opinion of others.
