Do you think $22 is a lot for a guitar lesson.

By my book it is a little expensive. I've taken guitar lessons for $15 an hour before. My friend actually just started taking them at the university we attend for $20 for an hour and a half and that there was an AMAZING deal. So while yours isn't OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive, it's more than I've ever paid for them.

It does seem like a lot of money. We were going to sign our son up for drum lessons, but they were going to charge $25 per half hour. I thought that was way too much! I don't understand why it costs so much money. I think that much per hour would be much more appropriate. But, I guess if it something that is important to the child, it could be worth it.

According to me its a bit costly.. 1/2 hour and once per week, 22$ is way to high and its not going to benefit you. Thats the point. forget about money. the way you attend class is not going to benefit you. You can better sit at home and learn online. Lots of websites are available where u can learn guitar for free. If you have a guitar already the online methods are better. Youtube has lots and lots of guitar lessons. Just give it a try if you feel comfy with it stop paying for the other classes :-)...

I think it is a good price for a one hour lesson but I don't know about a half hour. It seems like a lot of money, but as one other person said if you can afford it and you enjoy the lessons and have a true desire to learn then I guess the price is reasonable. It seems like a lot to me but it is not my desire so it is not as worth it to me as it might be to you.
