What present to buy at my baby girls' godfather ?  

I don't know what they like. Maybe buy them a branded clothes or wine. They'll be grateful as long as you give them decent gifts. :)

How about something with the baby's picture on? You dont have to spend a lot of money, nowhere near 300€, there are lovely items you can get with the babies pictures on them which are lovely for gfts for a godparent! :)

here's an idea take them some where and have a picture taken with them and the baby. now to me if someone did that i would love that

You could give them a gift card each. Make it a visa card where they can buy what ever they like. You won't have to worry about what to buy or if they like it. ou can't go wrong with a gift card. Put a wallet size picture of the baby in the envelope.

Maybe you could buy them a nice piece of jewellery, maybe engraved with the date of the baptism? For the man, perhaps you could buy a watch? Something like that, something they can wear and keep as a souvenir. Or a silver photo frame?

a gift basket of items you personally use or a gift basket full of your favorite foods would always be welcome to anyone from males to females, from single to married people, from childless couple to those with one or many kids .

If they are really close to you and true then they wouldnt mind what you get them. I personally would want to get somthing that they would use, but also something special and remembering. Part of the gift could be a picture of your child, or even have it put on a candle.
