as my birthday will be here soon. i look at as a chapter of my life. through each chapter ive lived and learned alot. here what i live by:
i dont judge others for who or what they are.
respect is earned not just given.
treat everyone how you would want to be treated.
no matter how bad life seems remember it could always be worst, and someone got it worst then you do
i will always be real with everyone, i am who i am, like it or not.
i will not treat no one different when i am around someone else.
i tell my wife i love her no matter who is around
i do have a soft side and people love it
i am very caring, loving and honest.
i might not have as much as some but i am just as good as they are
and for those who have less then me, they are as good as me. its whats on the inside that matter.
i may have lot of friends, i keep my closet close.
not afraid to tell those who matter to me that i love them
always be real and honest with everyone that will get you so much more respect then being a lier or theft.
you do for others not for what they give you, because its right and it will come back to you in many more ways.
make time for your family and love
dont never say never. go after your dreams, fix what needs to fix. no one can fix you except you.

Well said syan, Happy Birthday friend.
You are a good soul. What you live by reveals that.
I had a couple to share with you and our MyLot readers as well.
So, here goes;
Slow and Steady wins the race ;)
Stop for a rest when you are tiring
We reap what we sow
Argue Your Limitations and Sure Enough They Will Be Yours
We Are Never Presented With a Problem Without A Gift For Us In It's Hands
Live Each Day As If It Were Your Last
Never Put Off for Tomorrow What Can Be Done Today
Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Closer (lol)
When One Door Closes, Another One Opens
My favorite is Treat Others as You Expect To Be Treated, as you have also noted.
Thanks for sharing.
You are an inspiration to us all!
Have a fabulous time!

Those are great principles to live by syankee, I try to abide by similar ones myself and have always believed that we start out equal no matter what we have or have not :)
It is what's on the inside that matters and we are responsible for ourselves, only we can change our experiences by changing the way we react to situations and interact with the world around us.
Take care and good luck with the birthday preparations, I hope you have a wonderful day :)

Hi! Happy Birthday! I hope you will continue to live by the principles you have said here because these are really nice principles. I Pray that you will have more blessings to come for this new chapter on your life. I learned a lot from this post especially the " i tell my wife i love her no matter who is around" principle. I hope more husbands will do that because simple things like that really does great things to a marriage. Again, Happy Birthday!
